This patient came in with a large tender mass on knee right beside some older scars from a car accident and extensive knee surgery. As we have discussed before, the formation of cysts in scar tissue is well documented, and when they reach this size they can become very tender. It was a pleasure talking with my patient and I appreciate her sharing her unique case with us all!
