The Florida scar cyst. The patient flies from Florida to have me do his procedure! Mr. PopZit 040326

Thanks to my patient for sharing his procedure and his lovely wife for traveling with him all the way from Florida. We had a great discussion and it was so nice to meet them both! This patient had this cyst drained several times on his neck, but never fully removed. He had three dermatologist tell him they could not do it, and that it needed to be done by a general surgeon. I told him that could be true, I really need to see it in office to make that call. Luckily, we could easily help him and this should not come back. Anytime there is an abscessed cyst it’s possible to regrow, but this looked clean in the pocket and likely will not regrow.
