Thanks to my patient for sharing her procedure. This is the first time this patient has come in to see me. Generally if they have many comedones, I will initiate acne protocol medications and then have the patient in for several extraction sessions. She had recently started a retinoid. This will get them cleared up exponentially faster than just waiting for the medications to dissolve or break down Keratin pockets in the pores. This patient only has 100-200 clogged pores, so she should see signs of improvement very quickly. We will do follow ups with her. Acne extractions. Whiteheads, blackheads. Follicular cyst pops.
